"Walking in a winter wonderland"

Wow, talk about winter wonderland.

So much for the emerald isle, we are now a white wonderland, as every surface is completely covered in snow. We have reports of Dublin City pretty much at a halt as the snow just gets worse and the air gets colder. I woke this mornin to find my back garden looking like a scene out of "the day after tomorrow". Every surface was frozen, even the inside of the shed. It was like that scene where the cold air creeped across and sucked up everything in its path in a sheet of hard ice. It was so beautiful though to see the cobwebs slowly blowing in the breeze as they are frozen and shiny on the garden swing. Everything was scarily quiet and slow.

Very few people in college today too. I can imagine its due to all the people on the radio giving advice along the lines of "dont go out unless its COMPLETELY necessary", scary really. Have to say though i think its a bit of an overeaction. I mean, England is in a terrible state, -15 to -20 most nights. But mainland europe deal with this every winter, and deal with it well. Typical irish, make a big hooha over a bit of snow.

Feel like i should say something about the lecture which I am sitting in, which i should be taking more notes on. But i think i will leave that til another time. Maybe later on.

Pay attention in class!

Look forward to some insight into Ireland at this time in history, lack of finance always fuels art in my opinion.

Pretty description of the snow.

More please.
